On Sunday, March 23, former Wahpeton High School standouts Caden Kappes and Jackson Fliflet’s current college team, the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Augustana Vikings.
The game took place at Ronken Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Vikings this season.
The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 1 p.m. at UMC Baseball Field against Concordia Golden Bears.
