On Friday, March 28, former Wahpeton High School standouts Caden Kappes and Jackson Fliflet’s current college team, the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Concordia Golden Bears.

The game took place at UMC Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m. at UMC Baseball Field against Winona State Warriors.
