VCSU to host 10 free concerts at Center for the Arts in April and May

Valley City State University announced on April 10 that its Larry J. Robinson Center for the Arts will host ten concerts from April 10 to May 5, featuring student ensembles, senior recitals, and guest artists. All performances are free and open to the public in the Performance Hall.

The series of events aims to bring a wide range of musical experiences to the Valley City community over four weeks. The schedule includes appearances by university groups as well as visiting musicians.

The concert lineup begins with the Spring Instrumental Concert on April 10, which features both the VCSU Concert Band and guest artist Tuba Four. On April 11, senior Heather Lewis will perform her recital on tuba. Guest artist Oda Voltersvik is scheduled for an April 12 performance, followed by Levante Duo on April 13.

Additional events include a Percussion Ensemble Concert on April 16, Madi Klabo’s Senior Recital on April 18, a Jazz Ensemble Concert on April 23, an Opera Ensemble Performance on April 26, a Spring Choral Concert on May 1, and a Woodwind & Brass Ensemble Concert closing out the series on May 5.
