On July 16, 2025, Fedorchak announced the enactment of significant legislation, stating: "The HALT Fentanyl Act, which I co-sponsored, was just signed into law! Traffickers have targeted our children with illicit fentanyl for too long. Grateful for @RepMGriffith & @boblatta’s leadership to give law enforcement the tools they need to get this poison off our streets." The HALT Fentanyl Act aims to address the trafficking and abuse of illicit fentanyl by equipping law enforcement with enhanced measures.
