79% of Sargent County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 3,839 citizens living in Sargent County in 2021, 79% were old enough to vote, equating to 3,031 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 1,670 were male, constituting 55.1%, and 1,361 were female, making up 44.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Sargent County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.1%.
