The City of Fargo offices, Fargo Cass Public Health, all Fargo Public Library branches and the Ground Transportation Center and offices will be closed for the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, July 4 and will re-open to the public Wednesday, July 5.
MATBUS will have no services running on Tuesday, July 4; regular routes will resume on Wednesday, July 5.
Solid Waste collections will operate as follows: garbage and recycling routes for Monday, July 3 will be collected on schedule. Tuesday, July 4 routes will be collected on Wednesday, July 5. All other routes from Wednesday through Friday will be collected on their regularly scheduled day. Residents scheduled to have their garbage collected are encouraged to place their bins on the boulevard by 8 a.m. to ensure prompt pick-up. Please be aware the shift in route schedules may cause a slight delay in collection. The Fargo Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.
