The Fargo Fire Department will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Fire Station Number 8 on Tuesday, June 20 at 12 noon at 6617 33rd Street South in Fargo.

Fire Chief Steve Dirksen, Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney and Fire Liaison Commissioner Denise Kolpack are anticipated to speak.

The groundbreaking ceremonies will be streamed across The City of Fargo’s social media channels.

The members of the Fargo City Commission have been invited to attend so a quorum may be present.
