A conversation circle is an opportunity for English Language Learners to practice speaking in an informal setting. International visitors & immigrants are welcome.
English Conversation Circles take place monthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Registration is not required.
We will talk about everyday life in the United States (topics like money, healthcare, children, and schools), things to do in the West Fargo area, and current events in the United States and the world. You can expect to participate in conversation, discussions, role-plays, and speaking games. You will practice speaking, listening, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
At the West Fargo Library's English Conversation Circles, we will not talk about academic topics like history, science, literature, theory, philosophy, or research. Do not expect homework, textbooks, tests, presentations, or formal language exercises. We will also not practice grammar, writing, or reading.
