Barnes County Historical Society issued the following announcement.
What!! This amazing gift was donated to the food pantry from Northern Cass students. We could not be more thankful! Your generous hearts will bless many, many families in our communities. Thank you hardly seems enough!
Northern Cass learners collected over 700 boxes of cereal during the month of April to help community members experiencing food insecurity. Our high school student council designed and set up the domino chain which says "NC Jags" and at the monthly Greatness Celebration, a learner from the winning 4th grade class (they collected the most cereal boxes as a class) was chosen to knock down the dominos. The winning class also received a PJ and cereal party at the school. All the cereal collected is being used for the Jaguar Wellness Pantry and donations to the Rural Cass County Emergency Food Pantry.
