Richland County Health Department issued the following announcement.
Friday, May 13: Prevention is Everywhere: Highlighting Efforts Across Settings and Communities
North Dakota communities recognize investing in substance abuse prevention is important. It is one of the best investments we can make in our state’s future – creating safe and healthy individuals, families, businesses and communities.
The Department of Human Services is currently funding 28 communities, including four tribal communities, to implement data-driven, evidence-based prevention strategies targeting either underage drinking, adult binge drinking, suicide or opioid abuse and overdose. These communities cover 47 of the state’s 53 counties. Learn more about what is happening in your community by visiting: *insert local website with contact information
