Gn

Cass County North Dakota issued the following announcement on March 25.

This April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAP Month), Prevent Child Abuse North Dakota (PCAND) reinforces the role that each person plays in ensuring that children, families, and entire communities thrive by participating in the month-long nationwide awareness and impact campaign.

“Every day, we help positive childhood experiences take root. April is a time to help people across the country understand that safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments are necessary to ensure that children grow up happy and healthy,” explained PCAND’s Executive Director Dan Halverson. “We know positive childhood experiences in nurturing environments provide fertile ground for physical and mental health, learning, and social skills to flourish.”
