93 percent of applicants to North Dakota State University-Main Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At North Dakota State University-Main Campus, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Fargo enrolled 13,796 students in fall 2018, including 11,425 in undergraduate and 2,371 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

35 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Dakota, and 64 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (86 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 5,599 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 44 percent enrolled.
