The North Dakota State men’s and women’s track and field teams will compete at the Gary Wilson Invite hosted by the University of Minnesota on April 22.

The event, which will take place at the University of Minnesota Track & Field Stadium in Minneapolis, is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Six Bison athletes are currently ranked among the NCAA’s Top 50 in their respective events. The list includes Arienne Birch in high jump, Aaron Cummings in pole vault, Reece Grosserode in triple jump, Brady Goss in the 3000-meter steeplechase, Kaden Pastian in shot put, and Adison Kapitzke in hammer throw. Ethan Moe enters this week ranked 67th nationally for both the 800-meter and 1500-meter events.

The team is preparing for the Summit League Outdoor Championships, which are set to be held in Fargo from May 14-16.

This competition serves as an opportunity for athletes to improve their standings ahead of championship season.
