North Dakota High School Softball Coaches Poll released for May 4

The North Dakota High School Activities Association announced on May 5 the latest North Dakota High School Softball Coaches Poll for the 2026 season.

The poll provides an update on how teams are ranked in both Class A and Class B, reflecting coaches’ perspectives as the season progresses.

In Class A, Dickinson leads with a record of 17-2 and five first-place votes, followed closely by Williston at 18-1 with eight first-place votes. Other top teams include Bismarck High, Bismarck Legacy, Fargo Davies, West Fargo High, Grand Forks Red River, Mandan, Jamestown, and Fargo North. The poll notes that first place votes are indicated in parentheses next to each team.

For Class B teams, Central Cass holds the top spot with a record of 14-3 and thirteen first-place votes. Velva-Drake/Anamoose is second at 12-2. The rest of the top ten includes Beulah, Thompson, Kindred, Des Lacs-Burlington/Lewis & Clark, Hillsboro/Central Valley, Valley City, Renville County, and Nelson County/Midkota.
