The North Dakota State University baseball team announced on Apr. 21 that it will hold its annual Alumni Weekend from May 1 to May 3 at Newman Outdoor Field, coinciding with a home series against South Dakota State.

The event is significant as it brings together former players and the current team, strengthening connections within the Bison baseball community. Alumni are invited to attend and will receive two complimentary tickets to the Saturday, May 2 game against the Jackrabbits. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by emailing Brandon Hunt for more information and ticket reservations.

The weekend series begins on Friday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m., continues with the featured alumni game on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and concludes on Sunday, May 3 at 1:00 p.m. The games will include additional promotions such as Friday Night Lights and a buy-one-get-one-free hotdog night on Friday, along with Star Wars poster giveaways scheduled for Sunday.

A full list of promotional events planned for the season is available online through the team’s official schedule.

The upcoming weekend offers an opportunity for past players to reconnect while supporting this year’s squad in conference play.
