Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, has recently highlighted legislative and technological initiatives through her social media posts.

On August 21, 2025, Fedorchak emphasized the importance of advancing counter-unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) technologies. She stated, “That’s why our work here to advance counter-UAS technologies, improve testing and evaluation, and speed the transition from prototype to the field is so critical.”

Later that day, she discussed the impact of new legislation on small businesses. In her post dated August 21, 2025, Fedorchak wrote, “With the One Big Beautiful Bill now law, small business owners like Kevin qualify for 100% immediate expensing on capital investments. This means more freedom to invest, expand, and help grow our local economies. Watch below “ The policy referenced allows small businesses to immediately deduct the full cost of certain capital investments rather than depreciating them over time.

In another post on August 21, 2025, Fedorchak addressed regulatory changes affecting businesses. She said, “The Biden administration’s “Once In Always In” rule would have crushed businesses like Hebron Brick with unnecessary regulations. Earlier this year, @POTUS signed my legislation into law to repeal this harmful rule that penalizes businesses for reducing emissions. Watch:” The “Once In Always In” policy previously required facilities classified as major sources of hazardous air pollutants to maintain stringent controls even if their emissions dropped below thresholds; its repeal aimed to provide regulatory relief for such businesses.

Fedorchak’s recent posts reflect ongoing efforts in Congress to promote innovation in defense technology and support economic growth by reducing regulatory burdens on small businesses.
