Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak has recently used her social media platform to comment on a range of legislative and policy issues, including government appropriations, energy policy, and social matters.
On January 22, 2026, Fedorchak posted: “After one year of @POTUS, America is back to common sense:
No boys in girls’ sports
No taxpayer-funded health care for illegal immigrants
No Medicaid funding for abortions”.
Later that day, she addressed congressional budget activity. On January 23, 2026, Fedorchak wrote: “.@HouseGOP just passed the final FY26 appropriations bills. If enacted into law, this will be the first time in decades that Congress has funded the government through all 12 approps bills. We’re turning the page on bloated omnibuses and getting our fiscal house in order!”
Fedorchak also discussed agricultural and energy policy. On January 23, 2026, she stated: “Year-round E15 will add $25.3B to the GDP, support more than 128,000 full-time jobs, strengthen American energy security, and support our hardworking North Dakota farmers.
Let’s get it done!”
The reference to “year-round E15” concerns a gasoline blend containing up to 15% ethanol. Expanding its use has been supported by various lawmakers as a way to boost rural economies and reduce reliance on foreign oil. North Dakota is among the states with significant agricultural production that could benefit from increased ethanol demand.
The mention of passing all twelve appropriations bills refers to Congress’s annual process of funding federal agencies and programs through individual spending bills—a practice that has often been replaced by larger omnibus packages in recent decades due to legislative gridlock.
