The North Dakota State men’s track and field team competed at two meets on April 17, with standout performances including a personal-best run by Ethan Moe in the 800 meters.

The events took place at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, and Nebraska’s Big Red Classic in Lincoln. Sophomore Kaleb Foltz also performed strongly with a time of 1:48.88.

Two other Bison athletes set new personal records in the same event; Carl Rekow ran 1:51.48 while Quinn Roehl finished at 1:51.79. In distance running, Jacob Knodle recorded a season-best time of 14:17.51 in the 5000 meters, which is also his third-fastest career performance.

At Nebraska’s Big Red Classic, freshman Carter Reckelberg won the long jump with a wind-aided leap of 24-07.25 (7.50 meters). Lucas McNichols secured fifth place with a jump measuring 23-03.25 (7.09 meters). Zach Lilly placed fourth in javelin throw by reaching a distance of 192-1 (58.56 meters).
