Bismarck Legacy, Lisbon, and Bismarck High win NDHSAA wrestling team dual titles

Bismarck Legacy secured the Class A boys wrestling team dual state championship by defeating Bismarck High with a score of 44-22. The match included several decisive victories for Bismarck Legacy, such as Clark Thompson’s technical fall over Mark Bauman and Carter Johnson’s pin against Braden McConnell.

In the Class B boys division, Lisbon edged out Velva 36-32 to claim the championship. Lisbon wrestlers Ian Anderson and Griffin Greenley contributed significantly with a technical fall and a pin, respectively.

The girls’ team dual state championship saw Bismarck High overcome Lisbon 41-30. Rilynn Reems started strong for Bismarck with a technical fall, while Maggie Thielges and Julia Araujo each recorded pins that helped secure the win for their team.
