The North Dakota High School Activities Association announced on March 15 that the 2026 Division A Boys Basketball State Tournament will be televised and live-streamed by WDAY-TV. The tournament is scheduled for March 19-21 at the FARGODOME.
This announcement provides fans with multiple options to watch the games, either through traditional television broadcasts or digital streaming services. The coverage aims to make the event accessible to a wider audience across North Dakota.
According to the association, quarterfinal games on Thursday, March 19, will air on WDAY-Xtra. On Friday, March 20, semifinal games will be broadcast on WDAY, WDAZ, KBMY, and KMCY. Saturday’s third place and championship games will also be shown on these channels. For those preferring online access, all tournament rounds—including consolation semifinals and placement games—will be available via live video web stream on WDAY+, which requires a digital subscription.
Fans interested in watching online can learn more about subscribing to WDAY+ for full coverage of the tournament. Additional information about brackets and updates can be found by following NDHSAA on “X” at @NDHSAA or visiting www.ndhsaanow.com.
The combination of television and web streaming reflects ongoing efforts by organizers to increase accessibility for high school sports events in the state.
